Since the new SPAM attacks, the guest users will be limited to "Read Only" access till the Forum updates to the newer version. Please register yourself to have a possibility creating and answering posts.

Photoshop uses the following approach. In the gray value of the pixel should the luminance be written. It is calculatd as average sum of the maximal and minimal color channel values.

The forum engine was updated to a newer version with the enhanced antiSPAM mechanisms. So, the registration of new users and also guest posting is available again.

I think, it is possible to use face detection routines for detcting faces at the photos and mark the pixels which belong to the facial areas at photos. After that, we can increase the energy of these pixels to some efficient big constant number. That will preserve this pixels from deleting and there...
